Did you know there are creative ways to support the Walkway Over the Hudson?
I often randomly drive and explore, & found myself passing a sign on the interstate for it and was curious. I am so glad I stopped to find it ~ the views were so incredible, it's a very easy walk, there's historical information scattered throughout the walk, and even better - it's FREE. I've since visited the walkway countless times in all the seasons now, and currently work a mile away from it so it's the perfect spot for an after-work stroll to take in the views, beautiful afternoons, and always stunning views of the Hudson and the mountains.

The Walkway Over the Hudson reminded me the when we were on the rooftop of the World Trade Center but in a much more natural way. The green mountains, breeze of clean air walking high over the Hudson River. The view of the Mid- Hudson Bridge which runs alongside in the distance makes the view spectacular.
This is a must for old and young.
Romantic? Why not, take the love of your life to such a place it will add to your Romantic life. It is Nature. God's world is running under your feet.

What a great idea: convert and restore an old railroad bridge into a public walkway that spans the Hudson River! The height (approx. 160') affords stunning and sometimes, with the ferocious winds, exhilarating views of the Hudson & surrounding area for many miles. It provides a wonderful opportunity to get out & experience the beauty of the Hudson River Valley absolutely free.
